Whether you are searching the MSJ Library’s collection of databases for journal articles, searching the library catalog for books, or browsing the shelves, you may see some names you recognize. Perhaps you may encounter Saylor, Sontag, Barkley, Clephane, Schenkewitz, Johnson, Dinnesen, Kelley, Allen, LeBorgne, Withrow, Holland, Simon, Gick, or Zhang, these authors have something in common… They all teach at MSJ!
As a part of their work as professors, MSJ teaching faculty present at conferences, write publications, and in many other ways participate in the scholarly conversation. Participating in scholarship allows MSJ professors to share their ideas and teaching practices with others - in Cincinnati, in Ohio, and the world! As you encounter the work of Mount authors, you too are invited to take part in that same scholarly conversation.
Currently on display in the Classroom Building’s basement hallway leading to the Music Wing is a special cabinet displaying recent publications by Mount Authors. A comprehensive list of present and past Mount Authors can be found on the MSJ Library’s “Mount Authors” subject guide.
