Using OhioLINK, currently enrolled Mount St. Joseph University students, faculty and staff can find and borrow items held in college and university libraries throughout the state of Ohio. With the Pickup Anywhere option, borrowers may have items sent to their home library or to any other OhioLINK institution for pick up. OhioLINK borrowing can only be used to request items not available in the Archbishop Alter Library.
Items requested from OhioLINK generally arrive within 3 to 5 business days. You will be notified when the item is received.
Items are held for pick up at the Circulation Desk for 7 days only. If not picked up within this 7-day period, they will be sent back to the owning libraries. If you need extra time for your items to be held, please, notify the library at 513-244-4216.
How to request items from OhioLINK
If your search of FOCUS finds no matches, click on the "Search OhioLINK" button.
You will be asked to enter your name and library identification/barcode number. This information is printed on your MSJ AllCard, which is both your student photo id and your library barcode. (To obtain your AllCard, stop by Campus Security on the ground floor of the Seton Center.)
How to use the Pickup Anywhere option
The default Pickup Institution and Location is the Mount St. Joseph University Circulation Desk. If you want to pick up the item at an OhioLINK library convenient to your home or work, use the drop-down menu to select another Pickup Institution and Location. To complete your request, click on SUBMIT.
