Art Collection

The Archbishop Alter Library's permanent art collection includes:

  • Growth of Spirit  by Therese Fisher Clements,
    Growth of Spirit is a multi-segmented screen-printed fabric design,
    measuring 8' high by 22' wide. The piece was commissioned for the Library's refurbishment in 1988.
  • Vincenzo Gemito's bronze statue The Young Fisher Boy donated by Paul & Mary Margaret Naas,
  • Annual Library Art Prize Student Collection.
