Searching Local Libraries' Catalogs
You may want to use more than one library in your research. Because different libraries serve different groups of people, the kinds of resources and the topics covered will vary from one library to another. An art library may include slides and prints; a medical library will subscribe to specialized journals for physicians and health care workers.
Since no library can afford to own every resource, some of the items you need may be located at the public library or at a large university library.
Follow the on-screen instructions for searching other library catalogs.
From the Archbishop Alter Library's home page, Find Books & Media lists Search Local Libraries' Catalogs. Here you'll find a list of area college, university and public libraries. From here you can search library catalogs or connect to library Web sites.
